Biography:
Eman Boulis, M.D. is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. Dr. Boulis received her medical degree from Cairo University, Egypt. She completed her internship at Easton Hospital, PA then her internal medicine residency at Geisinger Medical Center, PA. Dr. Boulis worked as a hospitalist before completing her fellowship in rheumatology at the University of Mississippi where she was an affiliated staff. She has published research in lupus and osteoporosis. Dr. Boulis has experience with the diagnosis and management of a variety of rheumatological disorders including rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjogren's, scleroderma, mixed connective tissue disorder, polymyositis, polymyalgia rheumatica, gout, pseudogout, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, reactive arthritis, and osteoporosis. Rheumatologists are considered medical detectives who through the medical history and physical exam uncover clues to determine the cause of unexplained joint and muscle aches.
